The Freedom Bakery staff are very special to Natasha and she to them. Most of them joined Freedom Bakery after hearing that there was an opening, as Natasha has not ever advertised positions.  Some of the staff have previous experience and training, and others are being trained by Natasha.

Natasha started developing gluten-free bread and muffin recipes 10 years ago when her son was diagnosed with a gluten allergy. She started selling at markets 7 years ago, before opening Freedom Bakery in De Waal Road in 2013 and then moving to the current address.




Joe has managed the bakery since 2016. He met Natasha in 2015 while studying and helped her various markets for practical work experience. When Natasha needed a manager for the bakery he stepped in to assist.



Marius started working at Freedom Bakery in September 2017 and works as barista, breakfast and lunch maker, and shop assistant when required. He is eager to learn as much as possible about the products at Freedom Bakery.




JP is Freedom’s master baker. He started working with Natasha in 2014 and has developed some of the recipes with her. He concentrates on biscuits, wraps and croissants. He has 16 years baking experience and baking is his happy place.



Leonardo has 18 years baking experience and started working for Freedom Bakery in 2017. He concentrates on baking muffins.
